This is a final reminder:

The organizers in Chile, the sub-secretary of fisheries and the people of Patagonia are all looking forward to welcome you to participate in the First Masters Fly Fishing World Championship in Chile from 17 to 24 January 2014.

After their introduction during the congress in Lisbon end of April and their presentation with reception during the World Fly Fishing Championships in Norway in August, a lot of teams were very interested and keen on participating.

Till now we have a very poor attendance: The Czech Republic, Australia, South Africa, Chile and single participants from Sweden and Scotland.

I would like to insist strongly to participate, given the amount of efforts they already did to organize and to get discount airfares.

To all who promised me personally that they would participate: please make your inscription today.
Some examples:
Norway promised to participate with a team of the organizers of last World Championship
USA, one team ember started with the idea of a Masters in Chile, so please, I am looking forward to have a USA team in Chile
Ireland & England: both were very enthusiastic but till now, now participation,
Finland promised to come with a team,
Holland will come with at least 1 participant, but when?
Spain had the visit of Mr. Gallilea, but no participants till now.
Italy was very interested, but we are still waiting...

For those reason the Minister called me today to insist and to tell that the final inscription date will be end of December!

I really hope to see at least 10 teams to participate in this marvellous part of Chile, PATAGONIA.

Traducere mai pe scurt:

FIPS mouche indeamna/roaga toate tarile membre sa incerce sa trimita echipe sau sportivi la campionatul din chile. Indeamna pe cei care au promis ca vor participa sa isi onoreze promisiunea si sa se inscrie

Sunt doar 4 echipe compete inscrise (Cehia, Australia, Africa de Sud, Chile) + competitori individuali din Suedia si Scotia.
Spera sa se inscrie cel putin 10 echipe la acest prim "world masters" event.

Vasile, Paul Vekemans este presedintele FIPS-Mouche, deci mesajul transmis este in principal un indemn spre toate tarile membre FIPS si in special cele care i-au promis ca trimit lot sa se inscrie la acest concurs, dat fiind efortul depus de organizatori. + reaminteste ca data limita de inscriere este sfarsitul lui decembrie

Este normal sa nu fie reactii in conditiile de fata legate de acest concurs. Taxa de participare este de 2000 USD asta neincluzand biletele de avion care sunt cred undeva pe la 1000-1200 USD + alte cheltuieli ajungi catre 4000-5000 USD. NU cred ca, cineva dintre muscarii nostri isi permite sa scoata suma respectiva din buzunar...

Domnule Pop va multumesc pentru ca m-ati atentionat in legatura cu scrisoarea de mai sus. Este normal sa vorbim romaneste. Scrisoarea respectiva face parte din corespondenta particulara pe care o port de ceva vreme cu d-l PAUL VEKEMANS. Eu am inteles continutul mesajului dar nu pot sa ma erijez intr-un traducator,[am invatat engleza din filme] si am vrut sa-l fac cunoscut asa cum a fost trimis de autor.

Am auzit un zvon cum ca Romania va avea echipa completa. Ramane de vazut...
